This company has seen competition increase from the likes of the big high street electrical stores, losing footfall custom to the Trafford Center as well as an increase in local Business IT support companies. With more options for today’s customer, this IT Support company wanted to build a stronger footprint online.


Hale IT have experienced the industry shift from on-premise technical solutions to cloud based managed services.  With an increase in cloud-based IT products and services providers in the market.


Several social profiles were already up and running with regular content being posted but there was not a clear strategy to engage with a targeted audience and achieve measurable results. We took over the Facebook and Twitter management coupled with an additional content marketing plan that provided the target market with valuable insight into IT issues. The focus had to zoom in on the local market to ensure customer enquiries could be catered for within a certain radius of the company.


 Within a 6 month period we saw a 94% increase in social interactions, 67% increase in community size and a 136% increase in social referred traffic.

The key for this local IT Support company was increasing the interaction with other local businesses and residents. Keeping the content relevant to helping people identify technology issues and understanding what technical options are open to them has increased the enquiries coming through by keeping the branding awareness high within the Greater Manchester locality.
